Paul Merson is backing Manchester United to be ruthless against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils have already dispatched three teams to the tune of four goals at Old Trafford this season thanks to 4-0 victories over West Ham United, Swansea City and Everton.
Manchester United have scored 17 times and have conceded two goals in an impressive start to the 2017-18 season to keep pace with current leaders Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho’s side were 4-1 winners against CSKA Moscow to make back-to-back victories in the Champions League which could be an ominous sign for Crystal Palace.
The Eagles lost 5-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend and the London side haven’t secured a point in the current Premier League campaign.
Former Arsenal midfielder Merson is backing Manchester United to ease to a 4-0 win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
“Crystal Palace had some good chances against Man City but they just could not find the back of the net,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“I’m concerned for Palace in this one. There’s an international break just around the corner and I think United will be ruthless.
“I can’t see anything but a United win here and it’s going to comfortable for Jose Mourinho and his side.”
Manchester United are looking to win their first Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson secured his 13th top-flight crown.
The Red Devils signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
Mourinho won the EFL Cup and the Europa League last term.
