Paul Merson states his prediction for Man United v Everton
The Arsenal legend is backing Manchester United to continue their unbeaten start to the season against Everton

Paul Merson is confident Manchester United will extend their unbeaten run against Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils have made an unbeaten start to the Premier League season following three successive victories before last weekend’s 2-2 stalemate at Stoke City.
Manchester United have already netted 12 times in four Premier League games and face an Everton side that have conceded six goals in the 2017-18 season so far.
Jose Mourinho’s side were 3-0 winners against Swiss outfit Basel in the Champions League on Tuesday night to get their group-stage campaign off to a good start.
Former Red Devils captain and their record goal-scorer Wayne Rooney will return to Old Trafford for the first time since his summer move to Everton.
Ex Arsenal midfielder Merson is backing the Red Devils to record their fourth victory of the season at Old Trafford and condemn the Toffees to another defeat.
“Everton have disappointed me this season,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“They have signed all these players but last week they got ripped apart by Tottenham and they weren’t much better at Stamford Bridge before that. I don’t see anything other than a comfortable Manchester United win.”
Merson added: “Paul Pogba has been playing well and will be a miss, although not in this game. Marouane Fellaini will come in and will probably cause Everton problems. They will be alright for this game without Pogba.”
Manchester United signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 but are sitting at the top of the table after four games.
