Charlie Adam tells opposition teams how to exploit big Man United weakness
Charlie Adam explains how Stoke City tried to take advantage of Paul Pogba's weakness in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United

Charlie Adam has pinpointed the main tactic which earned Stoke a point against Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday night.
The Potters came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw with Jose Mourinho’s men at the bet365 Stadium as the Red Devils dropped their first Premier League points of the season.
Manchester United had been in sublime form before that game, having won all three of their opening top-flight clashes, before their draw against Mark Hughes’ men.
And Stoke midfielder Adam has explained how the Potters managed to exploit one of Paul Pogba’s main weaknesses in midfield against the Red Devils.
Speaking on BT Sport’s Premier League Tonight show, Adam said: “We found that we could punish United at the sides of Pogba and Nemanja Matic because Pogba gets attracted to the ball and you can get to the opposite side of him.
“He’s a top player but he gets attracted to the ball and if you can get to the side of him, Matic can be isolated on his own.
“At times we caused them problems. We tried that on Saturday. United are a top side though and we had to work hard for the draw.”
Manchester United return to Champions League action on Tuesday night with a crunch clash against Basel in their group-stage opener.
They booked their place in the group stage thanks to their Europa League triumph in Mourinho’s first campaign at the club last season, as they also won the EFL Cup last term.
The Red Devils, who are top of the table on goal difference from Manchester City, are aiming to win the Premier League title for the first time this season since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013.
