Top 26-year-old declares he will become the best in the world at Man United
David De Gea is determined to become the world's best goalkeeper at Manchester United

David De Gea believes that he has the potential to become the best goalkeeper in the world at Manchester United.
The Spanish shot-stopper has already earned a reputation as one of the world’s finest goalkeepers following his move to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid back in 2011.
De Gea has been a regular fixture between the posts for Manchester United in recent years after initially struggling to adapt to the rigours of English football.
The goalkeeper has attracted interest from Real Madrid in the past and he came close to signing for the Spanish giants from Manchester United back in the summer of 2015.
Now though, De Gea appears to be totally committed to Manchester United as he underlined his desire to become the world’s top shot-stopper at Old Trafford.
Speaking at a news conference on Monday, De Gea said: “I always want to be the best.
“I train hard to improve every day, in every training [session], so I work really hard to be the best keeper in the world. I don’t know who is the best at the moment but this is what I want – to be the best.
“All three keepers at United – Sergio [Romero], Joel [Pereira] and me – train really hard to be the player who is on the pitch to play in the games. Now I feel really strong, really confident.
“Everyone trains hard to be in the XI and that’s it.”
The goalkeeper will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon with a home clash against Everton.
Jose Mourinho’s men, who finished in sixth place last term, are currently leading the way at the top of the Premier League table after having won three of their opening four top-flight games.
