Owen Hargreaves make Man United claim about David De Gea
The former Man United midfielder considers David De Gea to be a world-class goalkeeper

Owen Hargreaves believes Manchester United shot stopper David De Gea is now among the best two goalkeepers in the world.
De Gea was left out of Manchester United’s team that were 2-0 winners against Ajax in the Europa League back in May amid uncertainty about his future.
The Spain international remained at the Red Devils beyond the close of the summer transfer window despite being linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Indeed, the 25-year-old has regularly flirted with a move to los Blancos over the past three or four summers but a transfer deal has failed to materialise.
De Gea has started the current season in great form and pulled off one of the best saves so far to deny Jese Rodriguez during Manchester United’s 2-2 draw at Stoke City.
The Spanish shot stopper had to be alert again during Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Basel in their Champions League opener on Tuesday night.
Former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves named De Gea as comfortably the best goalkeeper in the Premier League – and maybe the world.
“He is the best goalkeeper in our league, no question,” Hargreaves told BT Sport. “There aren’t many better in the world, either.”
Manchester United signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have won three of their opening four Premier League games to secure top spot in the table.
