Juan Mata sends message to Man United fans about Stoke stalemate
The Manchester United midfielder was pleased with the character Jose Mourinho's side showed at Stoke City

Juan Mata was pleased to see Manchester United show plenty of character at Stoke City despite settling for a 2-2 stalemate.
The Red Devils were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with the Potters at the Britannia Stadium to bring to an end their 100 per cent record.
Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku both got on the score sheet in the four-goal thriller at Stoke but Jose Mourinho’s side were unable to find a winner.
Manchester United have impressed in the opening weeks of the season particularly after 4-0 victories over West Ham United and Swansea City.
The Red Devils were 2-0 winners against 2016 champions Leicester City at Old Trafford to score 10 times in three games to start the new campaign with the flurry.
Manchester United hoisted themselves back to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference thanks to their 2-2 draw with Stoke.
Mata, though, praised his Red Devils team-mates for showing plenty of character at one of the most difficult grounds in the Premier League.
“Last Saturday, we let two points slip away from us, the first two in the Premier League, in the (always) tough visit to Stoke,” Mata wrote on his blog.
“We have to give credit to the opponent because they made things very difficult for us, as they do every year, by reducing spaces and also attacking with danger; however, we showed character and, in the last few minutes, we really felt that the victory was close.”
Manchester United signed three players in the summer transfer window following their sixth-place finish last season.
The Red Devils signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic this summer.
