Juan Mata has reflected on his 150th appearance in the Manchester United despite the disappointment of missing out on three points at Stoke City.

The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw with the Potters at the Britannia Stadium after the visitors squandered a second-half lead.

Marcus Rashford levelled for Manchester United before Romelu Lukaku’s fourth goal of the season gave the away side a slender advantage.

But Jose Mourinho’s side couldn’t hang on for three points as the Red Devils surrendered their 100 per cent start to the Premier League season.

Mata made his 150th appearance in a Manchester United shirt following his £37.1m deal from their title rivals Chelsea in the 2013 January transfer window.

The Spain international reflected on his milestone for the Red Devils and looked to put a positive spin on their 2-2 draw at the bet365 Stadium.

“It was my 150th game with United, something I’m very proud of, and I hope I can play many more!” Mata wrote on his personal blog.

“As I said, we couldn’t celebrate it with the three points but the team morale is still very good ahead of the game this coming Tuesday.

“We’re still on top of the table with 10 points out of 12, which is not bad.”

Manchester United were 4-0 winners against West Ham United and Swansea City in their opening two games of the Premier League game.

The Red Devils eased to a 2-0 victory over Leicester City to maintain their 100 per cent start before succumbing to a 2-2 draw at Stoke.

Mata has won the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the Europa League since moving to Manchester United.
