Nemanja Matic sends message to Man United fans about title challenge
The Manchester United midfielder is hoping that the Red Devils can remain at the top of the table for the rest of the season

Nemanja Matic has promised that Manchester United will work hard to remain at the top of the table for the remainder of the season.
The Red Devils came from behind to take the lead at Stoke City thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.
However, Manchester United were denied three points following Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s equaliser in the second half at the bet365 Stadium.
The 20-time English champions have won three of their opening four Premier League games before their stalemate with Stoke City.
The Red Devils were 4-0 winners against both West Ham and Swansea City before Manchester United eased to a 2-0 victory over Leicester City.
Jose Mourinho’s side are looking to win the club’s first Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson guided the Red Devils to top-flight glory in his final seas in charge at Old Trafford.
And Matic, who moved to the Red Devils from Chelsea in a £40m deal last month, sent a rallying cry to his Manchester United team-mates.
“It’s always important to be at the top of the table if you can,” Matic told Sky Sports.
“I’m happy that we are still there, and we’ll continue to work hard to stay there until the end of the season.”
Matic was part of the Chelsea team that won the Premier League title during Mourinho’s second spell in charge of the west London club.
The Serb midfielder won the top-flight crown under Antonio Conte – too.
