Ex-striker admits Man United’s new-look team frightens him
Louis Saha discusses Manchester United's impressive attacking line-up this season

Louis Saha has admitted that Manchester United’s attacking line-up frightens him as the Red Devils look to win the title in Jose Mourinho’s second season at the club.
Mourinho moved quickly to bolster his attacking line-up at Old Trafford by signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton early on in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils also renewed Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract until the end of the season, despite the Swedish striker currently on his way to recovery from a knee injury.
Manchester United have made a strong start to the new season as they look to try and win the title for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013.
And Saha has been impressed by what he has seen from Mourinho’s new-look attack.
The former Manchester United striker told BetStars: “They had a need in the team and signed Matic and Lukaku, both of them were very crucial and now Manchester United are title contenders.
“They look really strong and really composed. I really like the signing of Lukaku. I like United’s attack, it’s an easy one.
“When I look at the set-up and especially when Ibrahimovic comes back, it’s scary because attacking is not only about strikers.
“Nowadays it’s a lot about midfielders, the way you recover the ball and creating chances, it’s the way to score goals.
“There are no more ‘strikers’ as it used to be like Alan Shearer or Ruud Van Nistelrooy, it’s really hard to find them.”
Manchester United return to Premier League action next weekend with a trip to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils are hoping to significantly better their sixth-placed finish last season under Mourinho.
Manchester United won both the EFL Cup and Europa League last term and they kicked off their Champions League campaign this season with an impressive 3-0 win over Basel at Old Trafford last week.
