Jesse Lingard talks up potential of Man United striker: He’s improving
The Manchester United midfielder is impressed with Marcus Rashford's development at Old Trafford

Jesse Lingard believes Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford will continue to improve at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils striker has scored two goals and made one assist in five appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
Rashford netted on his Champions League debut in a 3-0 victory over Swiss side Basel at Old Trafford last week.
The 19-year-old continued his prolific start to the season with a double in Manchester United’s 4-1 win against Burton in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
Rashford played an important role in helping Manchester United to reach the Europa League final last season in the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the latter rounds.
The striker’s England and Manchester United team-mate Lingard only expects the teenager to get better as he develops more at Old Trafford.
“Each game, he’s improving and he wants to work hard and learn from the best,” Lingard told the United Review. “As long as he keeps scoring goals, people will talk highly about him.”
Mourinho’s predecessor Louis van Gaal handed the centre-forward his Manchester United debut in 2016.
Rashford has scored on his Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, League Cup and England debuts.
The teenager scored eight times in 18 games in his first season in the Manchester United first-team before Jose Mourinho’s appointment in May 2016.
Manchester United will make the trip to Southampton in their next Premier League game at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon.
