Paul Pogba sends message to Man United fans about his mentor
Paul Pogba reveals that he has been looking up to Michael Carrick as one of his mentors at Manchester United

Paul Pogba has revealed that Michael Carrick has been acting as a “mentor” to him since his move to Manchester United last summer.
The French midfielder moved back to Old Trafford from Serie A side Juventus last year in a then-world record transfer deal.
Pogba has been a regular fixture in the first team under Jose Mourinho and helped the Red Devils to win both the League Cup and Europa League in the Portuguese coach’s first campaign in charge last term.
Carrick has been a part of Manchester United’s success over the last few seasons and he recently extended his contract until the end of this season.
And Pogba has admitted that he has been learning a lot from the veteran midfielder as he continues to get used to life back at Old Trafford.
Pogba told Manchester United’s matchday programme: “I’m still learning from Michael. He is an example for me and I always look at him in training.
“I listen to his advice – every time, before a game, he comes to talk to me and he will ask me things and keep me calm.
“To be honest, he is a mentor to me and someone I look up to.”
Pogba is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury picked up during Manchester United’s 3-0 Champions League win over Basel last week.
It has not yet been confirmed how long the midfielder will be out for as he looks to get back fully fit as quickly as possible.
Manchester United are currently joint top of the Premier League table along with Manchester City after a strong start to the new campaign.
