Manchester United are keeping tabs on AS Roma teenager Mirko Antonucci, according to reports in Italy

Manchester United are one of four clubs looking to sign AS Roma teenager Mirko Antonucci next summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Transfermarketweb, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Red Devils are keeping close tabs on the 18-year-old, who is considered one of Roma’s best talents.
The same article states that Antonucci is set to become a free agent next summer when his current contract with Roma expires at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
According to the same story, Manchester United are prepared to rival Serie A trio Inter Milan, AC Milan and Lazio for Antonucci’s signature.
The Red Devils could open negotiations with the Roma defender in January, although Manchester United would have to cough up compensation if a deal was to materialise for the Italian starlet.
Antonucci has made one substitute appearance in Serie A this season amid intense transfer speculation surrounding his long-term future in the Italian capital.
Manchester United signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are sitting at the top of the Premier League table ahead of the visit of Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
