Manchester United are prepared to rival Arsenal for the signing of France international Thomas Lemar, according to reports in England.
The Sunday Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are ready to enter the race to sign the promising AS Monaco midfielder.
The same article states that Arsenal are planning to rekindle their interest in the 21-year-old forward in January or next summer.
Arsenal agreed a club-record £92m deal to sign Lemar on transfer deadline day but the playmaker turned down the Gunners.
However, the north London side will now face competition from Manchester United for the France attacker when the transfer window reopens.
According to the same story, Lemar’s representatives are aware that the Red Devils are interested in signing the Monaco player.
Manchester United have made an impressive start to the 2017-18 Premier League season after 4-0 victories over West Ham United and Swansea City.
