Ex-defender states his prediction for Stoke v Chelsea
Danny Higginbotham is backing Chelsea to beat Stoke City despite the Potters' impressive record at home so far this season

Danny Higginbotham is backing Chelsea to beat Stoke City despite the Potters’ record at the bet365 Stadium so far this season.
The Blues will make the trip to Stoke looking to return to winning ways following something of a surprise goalless stalemate with derby rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
The defending Premier League champions lost further ground on their chief title rivals Manchester City and Manchester United with the Blues three points adrift in third place.
Stoke have a good record against the top teams at home so far this season and Mark Hughes’ men are the only team to take points off the Red Devils after five games.
The Potters squandered a first-half lead to trail 2-1 before Maxim Choupo-Moting scored his second of the Premier League clash to rescue a 2-2 draw for the hosts.
Stoke did what Chelsea were unable to do and score against Arsenal in a 1-0 victory over Arsene Wenger’s side at the bet365 Stadium back in August.
Former Stoke defender Higginbotham is backing Chelsea to end Stoke’s resistance at bet365 Stadium with a win on Saturday afternoon.
“Stoke have started their home campaign very well, beating Arsenal and drawing with Man United,” Higginbotham told Sky Sports News. “But I’m going to have to go for a Chelsea win.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season.
