Michael Owen makes blunt prediction about Alexis Sanchez future at Arsenal
The Liverpool legend believes Alexis Sanchez will end up leaving Arsenal

Michael Owen admits he doesn’t see any possible scenario where Alexis Sanchez can remain at Arsenal.
The Gunners forward was heavily linked with a move in the summer transfer window but a deal failed to materialise despite interest from Manchester City.
The Chile international was thought to be open to a move to Pep Guardiola’s side, while the forward’s representatives were even reported to have reached out to Manchester United.
Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his current Arsenal contract to raise concerns about the 28-year-old leaving the north London club for nothing next summer.
The 28-year-old missed Arsenal’s opening two Premier League games of the season before the South American returned to the starting line-up for their 4-0 loss at Liverpool in August.
Sanchez has only made one assist in six appearances in the Premier League, while the ex Barcelona forward netted in a 3-1 win against Cologne in the Europa League.
Former Liverpool striker Owen admits he doesn’t understand how Sanchez can justify staying at Arsenal.
“If he’s interested in securing himself for the rest of his life financially, then he’ll leave,” Owen told BT Sport.
“If he’s interested in winning medals, then he’ll leave. There’s no way possible that he can stay in my eyes.”
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Gunners signed two players in the summer transfer window in an attempt to improve their squad.
