Petr Cech sends Arsenal warning to Man United in title race
The Arsenal goalkeeper sends message to Man City and Man United about the title race

Petr Cech has warned Manchester City and Manchester United that Arsenal will relish the chance to upset their momentum in the Premier League title race.
The Gunners were initially discounted from the title equation this season following a 1-0 defeat at Stoke City before a humiliating 4-0 loss to Liverpool back in August.
However, Arsenal have managed to bounce back with a four-game unbeaten run in the Premier League over the past month or so to move to within six points of the Manchester clubs.
The north London side will make the trip to Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering Manchester City side at the Etihad Stadium in November before the Gunners host Manchester United at The Emirates in early December.
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 but the Gunners finished in second place in the table but 10 points behind Leicester City in 2016.
Former Gunners shot stopper Cech is confident that Arsenal can compete with the two Manchester clubs in the title race and is relishing the chance to take points off their title rivals.
“We have still to play City and United, so there will be opportunities to get closer to them,” said Cech.
“But we have responded well to the disappointing defeat at Liverpool.
“Everybody has been doing their job and the positive results have given us the confidence we need.
“We are playing better as a team. We’re covering our mistakes with our hard work and the cohesion and defensive attitude is there. This is the way to go forward.”
