Kevin Kilbane believes Arsenal will be fine in the top-four race if Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez can maintain their current form.

Arsene Wenger started his three most-expensive players in the same team for the first time last weekend and Arsenal eased to a resounding 5-2 victory over Everton.

Nacho Monreal cancelled out Wayne Rooney’s opening goal before Ozil opened his Premier League account for the season before the German teed up Lacazette for Arsenal’s third.

Sanchez netted his second strike of the 2017-18 campaign following Aaron Ramsey’s effort to seal an emphatic win at Goodison Park.

Both Ozil and Sanchez are facing an uncertain future at the north London club with less than 12 months remaining on their current deals amid talk of interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

Arsenal signed France international Lacazette in a club-record £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the summer transfer window.

Former Irish defender Kilbane believes Arsenal will be in good shape this season if the Gunners can keep Lacazette, Ozil and Sanchez firing on all cylinders.

“They were class [against Everton]. Alexis Sanchez was right back,” Kilbane told Irish radio station Newstalk.

“He was brillaint. Ozil was quality. It’s Ozil you want to see.

“Lacazette was quiet but he scored a brilliant goal. If those three can get right, they’ll be good to watch. I’m just not convinced by them.”

Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League last term to miss out on a place in the Champions League for the first time under Arsene Wenger.
