Robbie Savage tells Mesut Ozil to forget about Arsenal return
Robbie Savage claims Mesut Ozil shouldn't get back into the Arsenal side on current form

Robbie Savage has claimed that Mesut Ozil shouldn’t get back into the Arsenal side, even when he is 100 per cent fit again.
The Germany playmaker sat out Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at The Emirates as he continues to struggle with a minor knee problem.
Arsenal have been praised for their recent performances without the World Cup winner, with Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi firing the Gunners to victory over Brighton on Sunday.
And former midfielder Savage has claimed that Ozil doesn’t merit a place back in the Gunners side on current form.
Speaking to BT Sport on Sunday, Savage said: “Even if he was fit, I don’t think he warrants a place in this Arsenal side.
“You look at Lacazette, you look at Sanchez, Iwobi…
“On current form, I don’t think Ozil gets in the side, even if he was 100 per cent fit.”
Ozil, whose current Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season, will be hoping to be back fit and available for selection when the Gunners return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Watford.
The north London side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
Arsene Wenger will be hoping for his team to at least break back into the top four this season after they had to settle for a Europa League spot this term.
