Chelsea, Man United to battle it out for 20-year-old defender – report
Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Middlesbrough starlet Dael Fry, according to reports

Chelsea and Manchester United are ready to battle it out for the signing of Middlesbrough’s promising Dael Fry, according to reports in England.
TeamTalk is reporting that the Premier League champions are interested in signing the 20-year-old defender since Fry established himself as a promising Championship player.
The same article states that Manchester United are another potential suitor for the Middlesbrough starlet who has flourished into a competent centre-half under new boss Garry Monk.
According to the report, Fry has received international recognition after being called up to the England Under-21 squad last week thanks to his impressive performances.
Boro defender Fry has made seven appearances in all competitions this season to help Monk’s men make a promising start to the 2017-18 campaign at the Riverside Stadium.
Only Preston North End have a better record than Middlesbrough in the Championship this term.
Fry’s defensive team-mate Ben Gibson has tended to attract more Premier League interest than most of his Middlesbrough team-mates since their relegation last term.
However, the 24-year-old remained at Middlesbrough where his uncle Steve Gibson is the owner despite interest from 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City.
Manchester United are in second place in the Premier League table and six points clear of defending champions Chelsea.
