Chelsea prepared to make these two quality signings in January – report
Chelsea could make moves for both Alex Sandro and Alexis Sanchez in January, say reports
Chelsea are looking to make moves to sign Alex Sandro and Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that Chelsea are ready to make a new £60m bid to sign Sandro from Juventus after the west London club were heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian in the summer transfer window.
The same report states that the Chelsea hierarchy are keen to underline their commitment to the Italian manager by making moves for some of his top transfer targets in the coming windows.
Sandro was relentlessly linked with a move to Chelsea during the summer but a deal failed to materialise as he ended up staying in Turin.
However, it is now being claimed that the Blues could be ready to make a mid-season move for the full-back in the new year.
The same report in the Daily Mirror also claims that Chelsea could enter the race for Arsenal star Sanchez in the new year.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and he was heavily linked with a move away from the north London club during the summer months.
The report claims that Arsenal could be set to cash-in on Sanchez in January rather than risk losing him for free next summer.
