Michy Batshuayi fires message at Chelsea fans after Alvaro Morata injury
Michy Batshuayi is determined to prove himself as ready to fill in for Alvaro Morata at Chelsea

Michy Batshuayi has vowed that he is ready to step up and fill in for Alvaro Morata following the striker’s hamstring injury.
Morata is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks after suffering the muscular injury during the first half of Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend.
It has not yet been officially confirmed how long Morata will be out for but he has already returned back to Cobham to work on his recovery after being sent home from Spain duty.
Chelsea return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
And Batshuayi has declared himself as ready to take his chance if he is asked to fill in for Morata in the coming weeks.
Batshuayi is quoted as saying by the Sky Sports: “It sounds strange to say, but someone’s bad luck is sometimes the happiness of the other.
“I know that I will have more playing opportunities in the coming weeks. It’s up to me to show that I’m capable.”
Antonio Conte opted not to replace Morata with Batshuayi when the Spanish striker limped off during the 1-0 loss to Manchester City, instead opting to call upon Willian.
Chelsea’s loss to Pep Guardiola’s side left the west London club in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
