Eden Hazard has admitted that he is a huge fan of Alvaro Morata and already believes that he has struck up a good understanding with the Chelsea forward.

Morata signed for Chelsea from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window and has made a strong start to life at the club since his move to west London.

The 25-year-old striker has scored six goals and made two assists in eight Premier League games for the Blues so far this season and has shown no signs of struggling to adapt to the rigours of English football.

And Hazard believes that he has already done well to strike up a solid connection with the new Chelsea signing following his move to Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “He’s a top striker.

“When good players play together, they don’t need to train two years.

“When we are on the pitch, we can see the movements he does and his technical ability is good so, with Alvaro – and, before, with Diego as well – it’s good.

“I try to have a good connection with my striker because, in my position, it’s good to have this player who is like a target man, so I need a good connection with him.”

Both Hazard and Morata will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday night.

The Blues head into that game in fourth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after nine games of the new campaign.
