Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he has been very impressed by Alvaro Morata’s strong start to life at Chelsea.

The Spanish striker signed for the west London club from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window and has made a fast start to his career with the Blues.

Morata netted a hat-trick in the win over Stoke last weekend in the Premier League and he has showed no signs of struggling to adapt to the rigours of English football.

Chelsea fans will be hoping that Morata will end up being the man to fire the Blues to a title defence this season.

And Klopp has conceded that he has been impressed by how former Real Madrid star Morata has seamlessly slotted into life at Stamford Bridge following his first few weeks in English football.

Reds boss Klopp told a news conference before Liverpool’s clash with Newcastle: “Morata is now really working and is a perfect fit [for Chelsea].”

Klopp’s Liverpool side take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon, before switching their attentions towards their crunch clash with Manchester United after the international break.

Morata, meanwhile, will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues take on Crystal Palace in their next Premier League game on Saturday 14 October.
