Antonio Conte told Chelsea don’t require any January signings
The Chelsea boss has a good enough squad to challenge for the title, according to Shaun Wright-Phillips

Shaun Wright-Phillips believes Chelsea’s squad has sufficient depth to allow Antonio Conte’s men challenge for the title this season.
The Blues have made a disappointing start to the defence of their top-flight crown following two defeats and one stalemate in their opening seven Premier League games.
Chelsea lost 1-0 to Premier League leaders Manchester City last weekend following Kevin De Bruyne’s second-half winner against his former club at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues lost 3-2 to Sean Dyche’s Burnley side at Stamford Bridge in their season opener but bounced back with three successive victories before a goalless draw with Arsenal in west London.
Chelsea signed six players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad depth ahead of a return to the Champions League.
Former England and Chelsea winger Wright-Phillips believes Conte has a group of players that are sufficient to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles.
“I still think that Chelsea have quite a lot of depth and they remain title challengers,” said Wright-Phillips, speaking exclusively to 888sport.
“Conte wanted more players but for the team that won the title last season there is not much change and they’ve added Morata who is on fire at the minute.
“So I don’t think they’re worrying too much.”
Chelsea won the top-flight crown with two games to spare last season after finishing seven points above their closest challengers Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and Conte.
The west London side lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season.
