Tiemoue Bakayoko posted a selfie from Chelsea’s Cobham training facility ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The defending Premier League champions will return to action at Selhurst Park in search of three points following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Manchester City in their final game before the international break.

Bakayoko will be hoping to be involved in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up at Palace as the French defensive midfielder continues his impressive start to the season.

The 23-year-old was signed in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the summer transfer window ahead of the departure of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United.

Bakayoko opened his Chelsea account with a goal in their landslide 6-0 win against Qarabag in the Champions League last month.

And the Chelsea summer signing was certainly pleased to be back training at Cobham ahead of the Premier League’s return after positing the above photo on his Instagram story.

The defending champions are in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points behind Manchester City after former Blues midfielder Kevin De Bruyne scored the Citizens’ winner at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Chelsea have won the title in two of the past three seasons.
