Rio Ferdinand sends clear message to Chelsea players after Man City loss
Rio Ferdinand discusses Chelsea's loss to Manchester City in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday

Rio Ferdinand claimed that Chelsea were completely “dominated” by Manchester City during their 1-0 loss to Pep Guardiola’s men at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Citizens earned plenty of praise for their performance at Stamford Bridge as the visitors dominated possession and carved out numerous chances against the Blues.
Chelsea never really managed to get a foothold in the game as they ended up losing their second home Premier League game of the season in front of their home fans.
Manchester City have underlined their status as one of the Premier League’s title challengers for this season, with Guardiola’s men currently top of the table and ahead of Manchester United on goal difference.
And former Manchester United defender Ferdinand believes that Manchester City sent out a clear message to their title rivals with their impressive win on Saturday night.
Speaking on BT Sport on Saturday, Ferdinand said: “Manchester City completely dominated this Chelsea team.
“They were outnumbered in midfield. They pressed Chelsea all over the park.
“It was a joy to watch really and Chelsea had no answer to any of that.”
Chelsea will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when the Blues return to top flight action after the international break with a clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Blues won the title last season in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge but they did not have the distraction of European football last term.
