Michy Batshuayi sends message to Antonio Conte after Chelsea’s loss to Man City
Michy Batshuayi discusses his current situation at Chelsea after the loss to Manchester City

Michy Batshuayi has insisted that he was not frustrated that Antonio Conte did not bring him on to replace Alvaro Morata during Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend.
Morata pulled up with a hamstring strain midway through the first half at Stamford Bridge but Conte opted instead to bring on Willian and leave Batshuayi on the bench.
The Belgian striker has been made to wait for his first team opportunities at Chelsea this season and he failed to hold down a regular spot last term following his transfer from Marseille in the summer of 2016.
However, the forward has insisted that he was more disappointed about the final result than his personal situation as Manchester City claimed a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge last Saturday.
Batshuayi is quoted as saying by the Daily Star: “What disappointed me was our defeat against Manchester City, not my personal fate.
“The coach often congratulates me because he knows my daily investment.
“I have grown tactically, but I did not calculate all that.
“I have evolved, just like the rest of the team, and with motivation, I am also stronger.”
It remains to be seen exactly how long Morata will be out injured for but Batshuayi will be hoping to start for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Crystal Palace.
Saturday’s loss to Manchester City left the Blues in fourth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
