Pedro Rodriguez has taken to social media to hail Chelsea’s “awesome” efforts after the Blues came from behind to secure a thrilling 4-2 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Pedro opened the scoring in the first half with a stunning strike but the Blues were soon pegged back by the visitors as they struck twice to lead 2-1.

However, Michy Batshuayi equalised for Antonio Conte’s men, before Cesar Azpilicueta put the home side in front.

And Batshuayi struck again late on to add gloss to the scoreline and wrap up Chelsea’s first Premier League win in three attempts.

Pedro was clearly delighted with the result and used his personal Instagram account to celebrate the victory.

The Spaniard posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Great game, great comeback and all three points. Awesome effort by the team.”

Chelsea’s win lifted them up to fourth place in the Premier League table.

The Blues will now switch their attentions back to League Cup affairs and their home clash against Everton in midweek in the fourth round.

Chelsea won the title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club last term but are already some way behind early leaders Manchester City this time around.
