Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to insist that he is staying completely focused despite the speculation about his future at Arsenal.

The 29-year-old’s situation has been a relentless source of debate over the last few months after both he and Alexis Sanchez entered into the final 12 months of their contracts at The Emirates.

Ozil is yet to commit his future to Arsenal by signing a new contract at the north London side and it remains to be seen whether he will still be a Gunners player come next season.

Arsenal are currently gearing up for their Premier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon as they look to get back to winning ways following their loss to Watford last weekend.

And Ozil took to social media to send a message to his critics as Arsenal prepared for their trip to Merseyside.

Ozil posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Ignore the noise and stay focused! 👊🏼 #COYG #EFCvAFC @arsenal.”

Arsenal are aiming to improve on their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League table last season.

The north London side have not won the title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
