Jamie Carragher predicts where Liverpool FC will finish in title race this season
The Liverpool legend rules out Jurgen Klopp's side in the Premier League title race

Jamie Carragher has appeared to rule out the possibility of Liverpool winning the Premier League title this season.
The Merseyside outfit failed to secure three points at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon despite Liverpool making the first-half breakthrough.
Brazil international Philippe Coutinho broke the deadlock thanks to a superb long-range strike to score in his third successive game since his return to the starting line-up.
Liverpool’s poor defending gave Newcastle a route back into the Premier League clash as Joselu managed to equalise despite Joel Matip’s desperate attempts to clear the ball.
The Reds have collected five points from their last four Premier League games to leave Jurgen Klopp’s men well off the pace in the title race.
Liverpool will host Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday 14 October before the Merseyside club make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane later this month.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher all but ruled out Klopp’s men in the Premier League title race this term.
“Do I think Liverpool are a title challenger this season? Possibly not,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“I saw the two Manchester clubs and Chelsea with Spurs [as challengers at the start of the season]. I always thought Liverpool would be in a fight for the top four this season.”
Liverpool are seven points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City and Manchester United after seven games in the 2017-18 season.
The Reds lost 5-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium at the start of September.
