Steve Nicol predicts when Liverpool FC will sack Jurgen Klopp
The Liverpool legend warns Jurgen Klopp could be sacked during the 2018-19 campaign

Liverpool could sack Jurgen Klopp in 18 months, Steve Nicol has claimed.
The Reds have made a disappointing start to the Premier League season following a return of 12 points from their opening seven games.
Liverpool have only managed to win one of their last seven games in all competitions to leave the Reds in a difficult position in the Champions League and the Premier League.
The Merseyside were 3-2 winners at Leicester City last month but lost 5-0 at Manchester City before stalemates with Burnley and Newcastle United to leave them seven points behind the Premier League leaders.
The Reds have also drawn with Spanish side Sevilla and Russian outfit Spartak Moscow to leave Klopp’s men without a win after two Champions League games this term.
Of more concern is Liverpool’s defensive record after conceding 12 times in seven Premier League games, while the Reds have let in seven goals in four European outings.
While Nicol doesn’t believe Klopp should be sacked at the end of the season if Liverpool miss out on a top-four finish, the Reds legend warned that the German coach could have his contract terminated if their inconsistent form continues into 2018-19.
“No (he shouldn’t get sacked at the end of the season),” Nicol told ESPN FC.
“But I would suggest that the following season, if it’s the same thing, then yes (he should get sacked).”
“Yes (I’d give him 18 months).”
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the table in Klopp’s first full season in charge last term.
