Jurgen Klopp urged to make this Liverpool FC signing to solve problems
Ally McCoist tells Jurgen Klopp to sign at least one centre-half to improve his Liverpool FC defence this summer

Liverpool need to sign at least one centre-half to improve their defensive issues in January, Ally McCoist has claimed.
The Reds are struggling to shake off their problems at the back after Liverpool conceded again in a 1-1 draw with Spartak Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Liverpool conceded 11 times in their opening six Premier League games which is more than any other team in the top half of the table following last weekend’s 3-2 loss to Leicester City.
The Merseyside outfit will make the trip to Newcastle United on Sunday and Liverpool will come up against ex manager Rafael Benitez.
The Spanish boss built a formidable Liverpool defence at Anfield during his six-year spell in charge at the Anfield outfit.
Liverpool chased Virgil van Dijk in the summer transfer window but Southampton refused to sell the Netherlands international.
Former Rangers striker McCoist emphasised that Liverpool need to sign a top centre-half in January to help solve their problems.
“Liverpool at this moment need at least one centre-half,” McCoist told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“The defence is a problem. They’re conceding goals and they can’t keep clean sheets.”
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a return to the Champions League.
The Reds have a worse defensive record under Klopp then his predecessor Brendan Rodgers.
