Roberto Firmino is setting his sights on finally getting his hands on some silverware as the Liverpool forward reflected on 100 games for the Merseyside club.

The Brazil international moved to the Anfield outfit in a £29m deal from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window under Brendan Rodgers.

However, Firmino has really come into his own since Jurgen Klopp took over the reins of the Reds, with the German coach an admirer of the number nine form his spell at Borussia Dortmund.

The 26-year-old has scored 23 times in 62 appearances since his move to the Premier League and has utilised in a false number nine role under Klopp with great success.

Firmino, though, is still waiting to get his hands on some silverware as Liverpool look to end their long wait to win the Premier League title for the first time.

And the Liverpool forward outlined his desire to win some trophies in his next 100 games as a Reds player.

“I hope I can get another 100 games for Liverpool and to achieve a lot of good things; to win as many trophies as possible and achieve success” Firmino told Liverpool’s website.

He added: “I am pretty content because I am a person who demands a lot of himself; I always want more and nothing is ever ‘perfect’ for me.

“It’s great but it could be better. That’s always my kind of thinking – to keep wanting more.”

Firmino has endured a difficult month or so after failing to get on the score sheet in September in the Premier League.

The Brazilian has scored two goals and made two assists in seven appearances in the Premier League so far this term.
