Anthony Martial took to social media to thank Manchester United’s fans for their support after he came off the bench to fire the Red Devils to a 1-0 victory over Tottenham on Saturday.

The French striker continued his fine start to the new season by netting his fourth strike of the season for the Red Devils in the Premier League to hand Manchester United a vital win.

Martial will be hoping to prove himself as worthy of a regular starting spot in the first team under Mourinho in the coming weeks and months.

And the France international was clearly delighted to play his part in helping Manchester United notch up the three points against Spurs at Old Trafford.

Martial posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Great win and thanks a lot you were amazing 🔴🔴🔴 @manchesterunited.”

The striker will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Champions League action on Tuesday night with a home clash against Benfica at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have won all three of their opening group games in the Champions League so far this season.

Manchester United finished sixth but won both the Europa League and League Cup last season.
