Marcus Rashford geared up for Manchester United’s scrap with Liverpool by spending time with world champion boxer Anthony Joshua on Tuesday.

The Red Devils forward has made a brilliant start to the Premier League season despite coming under pressure from Anthony Martial for a starting spot in Jose Mourinho’s team.

Rashford has already scored two goals and made three assists in seven appearances in the Premier League this season ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Anfield.

The Red Devils can expect a hostile atmosphere on Merseyside given their bitter rivalry with Liverpool as Mourinho’s men look to protect their unbeaten start to the 2017-18 season.

Joshua knows a thing or two about winning runs after the British boxer beat Wladimir Klitschko in round 11 to defend his world heavyweight title.

And Rashford had the chance to learn from one of British sport’s biggest names as the Manchester United teenager spent time with the world champion on Tuesday.

Joshua posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption: “We Got Us… #AJBXNG”

Rashford made his Manchester United debut under Mourinho’s predecessor Louis van Gaal in 2016.

Manchester United signed three players in the summer transfer window to transform their squad into potential title winners.
