Juan Mata admits he has been surprised by how quickly Romelu Lukaku has started firing at Manchester United

Juan Mata has admitted that he has been surprised by Romelu Lukaku’s brilliant start to life at Manchester United.
The Belgian striker has been in superb form for the Red Devils since signing for them from Everton back in July.
Lukaku has hit 10 goals in nine games in all competitions for Jose Mourinho’s men and has showed no signs of struggling to adapt to life at Old Trafford.
The forward already looks like he will be one of the main contenders for the Premier League golden boot this season following his sparkling displays for the Red Devils.
Lukaku and Mata will both be hoping to help Manchester United win the Premier League title this season following their sixth-placed finish last term.
And Spain international Mata admits he has been impressed by Lukaku’s brilliant start to life at Old Trafford.
Mata is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “It’s a lot of goals, especially when you come to a new environment.
“I knew he would score a lot but I didn’t know he would do it so quick, that’s true.
“He gives a lot more to the team, too, but for a striker it’s important to score, especially when you see other strikers are scoring and I believe that is what he feels.
“He has started really well and he has been a key part to our good start to the season.
“And he’s a good lad, a very humble lad and everyone likes him in the dressing room so we are happy for him.”
Manchester United are currently in second place in the Premier League table and level on points with leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
Jose Mourinho is aiming to lead Manchester United to their first Premier League triumph since their final title under Sir Alex Ferguson on 2013.
