Eric Bailly has handed Manchester United a big boost ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tottenham by returning to full training at Carrington.

The Ivory Coast international has been out of action for weeks after having picked up an injury while on duty with his national team.

Bailly’s last appearance for Manchester United came during the 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League back in September.

He has been working hard on his fitness levels at Manchester United’s Carrington training complex in recent weeks.

However, it now looks as though the 23-year-old could make his return to action for Manchester United when they host title rivals Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Bailly was pictured taking part in training at Carrington on Thursday morning as he closes in on a comeback.

The defender has scored one goal in six Premier League appearances for Manchester United so far this season.

The Red Devils head into Saturday’s game looking to get back to winning ways in the top flight after the disappointment of their shock 2-1 loss to Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since their famous final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
