Ander Herrera has warned his Manchester United team-mates that Tottenham have plenty of players who can cause the Red Devils problems this weekend.

The Red Devils are currently preparing to take on the Lilywhites at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime as they look to get back to winning ways in the top flight.

Tottenham have been in fine form in recent weeks and they head into the game after having beaten Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley last weekend.

Spurs are third in the table and level on points with Manchester United, with both sides currently five points behind leaders Manchester City after five games of the new campaign.

Herrera knows that Spurs are more than capable of causing Manchester United problems on Saturday and singled out Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min as their key danger-men.

Speaking to the Daily Express, Herrera said: “Tottenham are a direct rival every season.

“In the last two or three years they have improved a lot and they are contenders for everything; the Champions League, the Premier League and for both cups.

“We saw the game they played with Real Madrid last week and they were not worse than them, so that means they are ready for anything.

“It will be a big statement if we beat them. Spurs are very organised, they play really good football and they have players who can score – Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min. Even their full-backs are very offensive.”

Manchester United are aiming to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after their shock 2-1 loss to Huddersfield in the top flight last weekend.

The Red Devils are aiming to win the title this season after they had to settle for a sixth-placed finish in Mourinho’s first campaign in charge last term.
