Man United hope to capitalise on Mesut Ozil’s poor relationship with Arsenal boss – report
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is hoping to exploit Mesut Ozil's poor relationship with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger next summer, according to reports

Jose Mourinho is hoping to exploit Mesut Ozil’s poor relationship with Arsene Wenger and sign the Arsenal midfielder in January, according to reports.
Don Balon, as quoted by Turkish-football.com, is reporting that the Manchester United boss is hoping to reunite with the Germany international at Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Manchester United are aware of a breakdown in Ozil’s relationship with Wenger and the World Cup winner wants to leave the north London club to play under a different coach.
According to the same article, Mourinho is keen to complete a deal to sign Ozil in the summer when the Germany international will be available on a free transfer at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The 28-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his current Arsenal deal after failing to agree a contract extension with the FA Cup holders over the past 12 months.
Ozil has only started one of Arsenal’s last seven games in all competitions to raise questions about his future at the Gunners despite the midfielder suffering with a knee problem.
Arsenal signed Ozil in a £42.5m deal from Real Madrid in the 2013 summer transfer window.
The Gunners star has scored 33 goals in 166 appearances in all competitions.
