Arsenal among clubs interested in signing Man United outcast – report
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs interested in signing Luke Shaw from Manchester United, say reports
Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs interested in signing Luke Shaw if the left-back ends up leaving Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City are all on alert as to the 22-year-old’s situation at Old Trafford as he struggles to hold down a regular spot in the first team.
The same report claims that it is not yet clear whether Shaw will remain at Old Trafford beyond the January transfer window or if he will be shipped out on loan for the remainder of the season.
The defender has failed to win over Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford since the Portuguese coach’s appointment at the club back in May 2016.
Indeed, Shaw has only made two substitute appearances for Manchester United so far this season, with both of those run-outs coming in the League Cup.
The same report states that Fenerbahce are among the clubs interested in taking Shaw on loan until the end of the season in January, but the player himself is not believed to be keen on a move to Chelsea.
