The French striker continued his fine start to life at The Emirates when he fired home from Aaron Ramsey’s clever pass in the third minute.
Huddersfield battled hard but Arsenal made it 2-0 in the 68th minute when Olivier Giroud, who replaced Lacazette at half-time, fired home.
Alexis Sanchez then added a third moments later, before Mesut Ozil got on the score sheet and Giroud added his second of the night late on to complete the rout.
Lacazette has now scored seven Premier League goals for Arsenal so far this season, and Manchester United legend Neville has been very impressed by his solid form.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Neville said: “It’s a lovely flick from Ramsey [for the opening goal].
“That’s what Lacazette does. When he gets in the box and he tends to put them away.”
Arsenal now turn their attentions towards their crunch clash against Manchester United at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners, who finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season, are currently fourth in the Premier League table as they prepare to welcome Jose Mourinho’s men to north London.
