Arsenal and Everton keeping tabs on promising 18-year-old winger – report
Arsenal and Everton are both keeping tabs on Middlesbrough teenager Marcus Tavernier, say reports

Arsenal and Everton are among the clubs keeping tabs on Middlesbrough’s teenage winger Marcus Tavernier, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Gunners and the Toffees are monitoring the 18-year-old’s development after his recent good form.
The same report claims that Tavernier has been watched by scouts from both Premier League clubs in recent months after his sparkling displays.
Tavernier has recently broken into the first team at Middlesbrough and scored the winner against Sunderland at the start of the month.
He has notched up six appearances in all competitions for Middlesbrough so far this season.
Tavernier is also said to have attracted interest from Aston Villa in recent weeks – and Middlesbrough are said to be ready to trigger a year-option on his contract shortly.
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window edges nearer, but it remains to be seen what Arsene Wenger will do to try and strengthen his squad next year.
The Gunners have made a stuttering start to the new campaign after they finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season.
