Lee Dixon has warned Arsenal that Arsene Wenger isn’t the right man to fix their problems.

The Gunners saw their title aspirations take another blow last weekend after Manchester City were 3-1 winners against the FA Cup holders at The Etihad.

Arsenal are 12 points behind Pep Guardiola’s Premier League leaders following a disappointing start to the 2017-18 season.

The north London side have already lost to Stoke City, Liverpool and Watford on the road in the Premier League to raise serious questions about their performances on the road.

The Gunners have conceded 15 times in six away games in the Premier League to leave Wenger’s side with one of the worst defensive records in the top flight.

Arsenal have a 100 per cent record at The Emirates in the Premier League this season but their away form continues to undermine their hopes of reclaiming a top-four spot.

Retired Gunners defender Dixon admitted that Wenger can’t fix the current problems at The Emirates.

“They’re unfixable – by Arsene. He has created an environment where Arsenal don’t know what they’re doing without the ball,” Dixon told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“They can beat anyone on their day going forward. They can lose to anyone on their day going forward.”

Arsenal have won the FA Cup in three of the past four seasons after a 2-1 victory over title holders Chelsea at Wembley back in May.

The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04.

The north London side signed Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac in the summer transfer window.
