Ian Wright predicts where Arsenal, Liverpool FC will finish
The Arsenal legend believes the Gunners will battle it out with Liverpool FC for fifth spot

Ian Wright believes Arsenal and Liverpool will battle it out for fifth spot in the Premier League table this season.
The Reds were 4-1 winners against West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend to hoist themselves above Arsenal and into fifth place in the table.
Mohamed Salah scored either side of half-time, while African defender Joel Matip and summer signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opened his Premier League account for Liverpool.
Arsenal, meanwhile, lost 3-1 to Premier League leaders Manchester City to leave the north London side 12 points behind Pep Guardiola’s men after 11 games.
Liverpool managed to finish in fourth spot ahead of Arsenal last season after a 3-1 win against Middlesbrough on the final day of the 2017-18 Premier League campaign.
However, Manchester United’s improvement under Jose Mourinho means Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and the Red Devils are favourites to finish in the top four.
Former Arsenal striker Wright is tipping Liverpool and the Gunners to battle it out for a fifth-placed finish this term.
“Arsenal are little way away right now. We’re sixth right now,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I think that’s about where we are. I think we will change places with Liverpool in fifth throughout the season.”
Liverpool were 4-0 winners against Arsenal in the Premier League in August to continue their excellent record against the Gunners at Anfield in recent seasons.
The north London side have only managed to win one of their six games on the road this term.
