Sead Kolasinac looked to be in good spirits as he posed for a picture with Leon Goretzka after the German was linked with a transfer to Arsenal in recent days.

The pair used to be team-mates at Schalke before Kolasinac opted to quit the German club and link up with the Gunners in the summer.

Kolasinac joined Arsenal on a free transfer from the German club and he has earned rave reviews for his performances for the north Londoners since his move.

Goretzka has been touted as a possible transfer target for Arsenal in recent weeks and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners will make an official move for him soon.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that Kolasinac was looking to convince Goretzka that a move to The Emirates would be the right decision for him, as he posted the picture above on his Instagram story over the weekend.

The 22-year-old has scored four goals in eight Bundesliga games for the German club so far this season and the midfielder is highly rated in his native homeland.

Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.

Kolasinac, meanwhile, will now be turning his attentions back to Premier League affairs and Arsenal’s clash with Tottenham at The Emirates next weekend.
