Gary Neville has admitted that Alexandre Lacazette is poised to terrorise defences alongside the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez with Arsenal.

The trio all started together up front for Arsene Wenger’s men on Saturday as the Gunners sealed an impressive 2-0 victory over Tottenham in the north London derby clash.

Lacazette has made a strong start to life at Arsenal following his transfer from French side Lyon back in the summer transfer window.

The striker’s fine play set up Sanchez for the Gunners’ second goal on Saturday, after Ozil had provided the assist for Shkodran Mustafi’s opener.

Former Manchester United defender Neville was very impressed by what he saw from the attacking trio for the Gunners on Saturday and believes that there’s more to come from them.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Neville said: “If those three [Lacazette, Ozil and Sanchez] play at the level that they did against Tottenham, they’re going to win an awful lot of football matches for Arsenal. They will be a huge threat.

“Tottenham were unnerved from minute one – they were chased down and hunted.

“The movement from Lacazette in particular off the last line… Sanchez is always difficult to handle and Ozil’s weight of passing and decision making is really good.

“It’s everything you’d want, really.”

Arsenal return to Europa League action on Thursday night when they take on Cologne in Germany.

The north London side will then switch their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and their trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley.

The Gunners are sixth in the Premier League table and 12 points behind leaders Manchester City after 12 games of the new campaign.
