The north London side were heavily linked with a bid to land the 21-year-old Monaco midfielder throughout the summer but a deal for the Frenchman failed to materialise.
There is bound to be fresh speculation linking the Gunners with a move for the winger in the coming weeks as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
However, Wenger has insisted that he is not yet thinking about the players Arsenal could move to sign in the new year and is instead focused on his team’s forthcoming games.
Speaking at a news conference on Wednesday, Wenger replied when asked if he Arsenal will revive a deal for Lemar: “No, at the moment I have told you I have a big squad and the problem for me is to keep everyone together until the end of the season.
“Do we go for the transfer market in January? I don’t know yet.”
Arsenal are currently preparing for their crunch clash against Manchester City in the Premier League at The Etihad.
A win for the north London side would allow them to close the gap to the leaders down to six points, with Manchester City currently nine points ahead of the Gunners.
Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup last season, beating Chelsea in the final at Wembley back in May.
