Jack Wilshere will be hoping to start for Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend
Jack Wilshere looks to be in good shape as he and his Arsenal team-mates prepare for their crunch north London derby showdown with Tottenham at the weekend.
Wilshere has not been involved in England duty during the international break after he omitted from the team by Gareth Southgate for the friendlies against Brazil and Germany.
The 25-year-old has been working his way back to full fitness for the Gunners after having spent last season out on loan to Bournemouth.
Wilshere has been staking his claim for a regular spot in the first team for the Gunners with a string of impressive performances for Arsene Wenger’s men in the Europa League.
The midfielder will be hoping to start for Arsenal when the Gunners host bitter local rivals Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.
And Wilshere looked to be in good shape as he tussled for possession with Francis Coquelin in Arsenal training this week.
Wilshere posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “⚽️⚽️⚽️”
Arsenal head into their clash with Spurs looking to get back to winning ways in the top flight after the disappointment of their 3-1 loss to Manchester City before the international break.
