Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will discuss his Arsenal future with the club’s board at the end of the current season.

The Frenchman’s situation at The Emirates was a constant source of speculation last season as he entered into the final few weeks of his contract.

However, Wenger opted to sign a new two-year deal in the summer to keep him in charge of the north London side until the end of next season.

It has been something of a mixed start to the new season for the Gunners, with Wenger’s men already having dropped a lot of points this term to leave them 12 points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games.

And the Gunners boss has revealed that he will have an honest and open discussion with the club’s board at the end of the campaign to discuss his situation.

Speaking in an interview with beIN Sports, Wenger said: “I will sit down with the board every end of the season and see where we go from there.

“I have a two years contract, I will always try to go to the end of my contract but I will always have the honesty to sit down with the board and to see where we go from there, so it’s quite simple.”

Wenger is currently gearing up his Arsenal side for their crunch Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.

The Gunners head into that game looking to get back to winning ways after their 3-1 loss to Manchester City at The Etihad before the international break.
