Paul Ince is backing Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to play out a 2-2 draw in the north London derby at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will welcome their biter rivals in the Premier League’s early kick-off as Arsenal look to get back to winning ways following a disappointing 3-1 loss to Premier League leaders Manchester City last time out.

Arsenal are already 12 points behind Pep Guardiola’s side following a return of one win in six games on the road in the Premier League this season, including defeats at Stoke City, Liverpool and Watford.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are level on points with second-placed Manchester United but still trail Manchester City by an eight-point margin after 11 games.

Spurs haven’t lost to Arsenal at The Emirates since September 2013 and the Lilywhites are unbeaten in their last four north London derbies.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Ince is backing Arsenal and Tottenham to play out a 2-2 stalemate at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

“I know everyone thinks this game is a foregone conclusion, and I can see why, but I’m holding out for a bit of action,” Ince told Daily Express.

“It would be great to see a really fast-paced North London derby, and I do think we’re going to see both teams scoring.

“I read somewhere that this game has seen both teams score the most times of any game in the Premier League. So why not again this weekend…”

Tottenham were 2-0 winners against Arsenal in their last meeting at White Hart Lane last season.

The Lilywhites are four points clear of sixth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table.
